The article says the existing FDA method failed to flag possible associations involving myocarditis, pericarditis, Bell’s palsy, tinnitus and other reported conditions. When CDC eventually performed the PRR analysis in 2022, according to BMJ’s examination, hundreds of adverse events met CDC’s statistical alert criteria, even though CDC Director Rochelle Walensky had said the analysis found “no additional unexpected safety signals.”
