Monopolization: the share of hospitals affiliated with health systems increased from 53 percent in 2005 to 68 percent in 2022, and the share of physicians affiliated with hospitals or health systems increased from 29 percent to 41 percent over the same period.

For many years, our health care blog was the only free enterprise health policy blog on the internet. Then, when the NCPA closed its doors, the health blog stopped as well.
