Wednesday Links

Posted on February 1, 2023 by John C. Goodman

The human circulatory system is 60,000 miles long.

While waiting for government price negotiations to begin, Pfizer Inc. and Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. have raised prices on nearly 1,000 products so far this year.

Matt Holt discovers that he pays more for drugs than his insurer does – just like Medicare enrollees. Too bad he didn’t do more to help stop the congressional Democrats from rescinding the Trump executive order that would have ended this practice—at least for Medicare.

Are politicians playing doctor on marijuana, or are they just getting big brother out of the way?

Devon, don’t link to Matthew. Matthew is so lost on health care and his blog has taught him nothing. Just look at how goofy Matthew is when he writes, “As the average THCB reader is probably all too well aware I live in Marin County, California and therefore my kids are on amphetamine-based medication for ADHD.” See, how goofy is that? It’s the law I guess in Marin County that all children of anyone named Matt must have a mental illness!

If you read the Health Care Blog you will be dumber at the end than when you started. Go there if you want to be dumbed down by California goofyness.

If Matthew was your father the odds are 100% you will have deep mental problems. Crazy liberals.

For many years, our health care blog was the only free enterprise health policy blog on the internet. Then, when the NCPA closed its doors, the health blog stopped as well.

During this five-year hiatus no one else has come forward to claim the space. So, my colleagues and I have decided to restart the blog in connection with the Goodman Institute. We invite you and others to use this forum to share your views.
