Manufacturing employment has been flat since November. Information has shed jobs over the past two years. Job growth in leisure and hospitality has slowed to a trickle. Total hours worked in leisure and hospitality haven’t budged since late last year because employers are cutting hours….
New jobs were revised down by a combined 111,000 for May and April. Job growth has averaged about 177,000 over the past three months, compared to 220,000 for the past year.
